Can you remember the day you first met your hubby?
Um... sort of. I know I was a freshman in High School, I can't remember the exact day, we were introduced by my boyfriend at the time, who was best friends with my now husband.

September of 1993

Not as obnoxious as the other friends. Nice guy, nice smile.

Were you attracted to him?
Um. Not really then because I didn't think of him in "that" way we were only friends. But, I did think he was a nice looking guy.


Were you friends before he became your boyfriend?
Yep. We even went to Junior Prom together, him with is date and me with mine. lol

What was the sweetest thing he did for you?
Um... there are a lot of things he has done sweet, but one of the best things, I think, is that he let me have my dream of being a SAHM. :)

What are the things about him that you are thankful for?
That he goes to work every day, to have a break from him. LOL JUST KIDDING!! really I am!! things I'm thankful for are... that he is a hard worker, he is a good father and a good husband, he is honest and wouldn't ever lie or cheat. He would do whatever he had to do for us to have whatever we needed or wanted. He is a great provider. He is also pretty funny and entertaining. And I'm also glad he is pretty smart, although he does have a BIG head about it he is pretty good at anything he tries. shhhhh do NOT tell him I said this!! I will hunt you down if I have to!

Meme

I found THIS great blog the other day ~ Delta Kids ~ and I went there to visit today and found that April had tagged me for a meme. :) Since I'm trying to reach my 365 posts this year with out doing the formal blog365 thing of every day posting, and I'm short about 80-something posts, I'm happy to do a meme. Something fun and interesting instead of the other crap I was going to post. lol

1. I LOVE coffee!! But I will only really drink French Vanilla coffee with French Vanilla creamer or reg coffee (if I have to) with FV creamer. BUT I love it. :)



2. I LOVE to have my hair cut, played with, brushed, styled anything... BUT I get the weirdest feeling... sort of like chills or pin and needles down my back and arms when I get my hair washed at a salon.



3. (for new readers) I have three children. I have a five year old little boy who's name is Trevor and he is ALL BOY ... ALL the time!! lol and I wouldn't have it any other way! :) I also have twin girls, Lauren and Brooke, they are three...(my son turned 2 and a week later I had my girls.... natural!) and full of drama and they are most definitely ALL GIRL, but not all the time... because sometimes they like to act just like their older brother.



4. I LOVED being pregnant!! I would do it again and again and again if I could. I would do it for other people too, but my husband and I have a little difference of opinion on that... so for now I haven't pursued that option ... YET! This is something I'd really love to be able to do for someone... what greater gift than the gift of a child/life for someone? I can't think of one.



5. I am a stay-at-home-mom, and I am not very good at it. I want to do more with my girls... teach them stuff and play with them more... really enjoy this time with them, because I know it is going to go by in the blink of an eye... in fact a lot of it already has... three years already wow.

And I know I'm going to miss them very much when they go to pre-school next year because I miss my son every day... it has gotten easier because he is very happy in school, but I still miss him.



6. I read the Twilight series and LOVED it!! I also went to see Twilight the first night it was out... sometimes I think I'm a little too old to be so into Twilight and (blush) Edward Cullen... but then I just rationalize that I JUST CANNOT help myself!! lol I really loved the books. I can't wait for the Midnight book to come out!! I read it online, what is there at least, and am hoping it comes out soon!!



7. I was a dental assistant before I was a SAHM and when I go back to work I'm not sure what exactly I will go back to doing. I loved being a dental assistant, but not sure if I will go back into that field or not. As of now, it is what I would like to do... I know it and love it and don't have to worry about what I will wear to work each day... scrubs are so easy, but I'm not sure if it will work out for me to do that again. We'll see.

Six Random Things About Me:

1. I procrastinate! Not all the time. Just mostly when I'm on a time limit or schedule, for some reason I love to push it to the max extreme of how long I can put everything off then I run around like a raging lunatic and try to get it all done. Great! right?

~

2. I have total potty mouth. Not the greatest fact about myself, but one that is definitely true. And, more important one that I would LOVE to change and really MUST work on changing and stopping all together!! I don't want to talk that way around my children or worse to my children and I have to change that now. And since I have just put it out there I think I will work on it starting NOW!! :)

~

3. I'm totally a people person... and I'm very friendly most of the time, but for some reason I'm more friendly when I'm by myself places then when I'm with other people... like if I'm with Bryan or one of my friends or one of my parents or whatever, I'm not as chatty and outgoing as I am when it is just me or me and the kids. Not sure why. (I also am kind of witch and can be very nasty to rude/inconsiderate/stupid people when out in public... I have almost no problem speaking my mind)

4. I used to be so shy when I was younger I would cry if someone tried to talk to me when I was out some where with my parents. I'm not sure what age I grew out of that... or what exactly made me change, but now I have no problem talking to anyone. I'm so far from shy it isn't even funny!! :)

5. I was a dental assistant before I was a SAHM with Trevor and then the girls... and I LOVED my job. I loved almost every single little detail of my job. I loved the people I worked with I love the boss I worked for and I even kind of liked most of the patients we worked on. :) I really hope that when I go back to work I can find a job doing the same thing and I will love and enjoy it as much. & I do really look forward to going back to work. I love this journey I'm on now in my life and I enjoy every minute of it... but I do look forward to working outside of the house one day and making some money to help support our family!! :)

6. Every year for the last few years, like 3 or so, I loose my voice every Fall. And this year it happened again without fail. Not sure what does it to me, but it is quite annoying. I am slowly getting it back now, but it is still gone... ugh. It gets better then one day of moving and working and staying up late and painting and it is shot again. I can't wait for it to come back fully.

So those are all lame and most of them you probably already knew, but that is all I got for now... and since I was, of course, procrastinating, I really REALLY really have to get up and do some things around here.

1. I love to toast chocolate poptarts and then put butter on the non-frosted side and eat it all up!! Yummy!! My grandmother used to make them for me like this and I think that is why I still love them this way.

2. I love to pick scabs. I know, I know... I'm very well aware of the fact that this is maybe not weird or random, but just all out GROSS! Still do not care, I get enjoyment out of it. ;)

3. I like to watch gory shit on TV, but not just like in movies, I like to see REAL LIFE gory shit! Like surgeries, infections, trauma stuff, just random bloody messes! lol

4. I would really love to be an undertaker and be able to do autopsies, but do NOT feel like going to school that long to do that stuff.

5. I have always wanted to open a restaurant and bar in one... I worked in one and ever since I have this great passion for doing this. And although I have the desire, passion and drive to do it I greatly and seriously lack the money! lol

6. My wedding was the FREAKIN' BEST!! No if's and's or but's about it!! I had relatively no problems while planning and coordinating it all and the actual day of it was absolutely perfect!!

7. I cannot sing for my life, cannot carry a tune and believe that I am completely tone deaf, but I still will sing karaoke almost any where, and not give a shit!!

Yuck it is raining!! :(

1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? My Dad picked my first name, and my middle name is after my Grandmother, Mildred :) She loved that I was her namesake and would tell everyone that. :)

2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED? Wow, I can't remember! I guess that is a good thing, it means it has been a while... I'm not much of a crier though... I usually just get pissed and RANT, VENT and bitch...

3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING? I like my handwriting when I think about it and write nice... other wise, when I'm in a hurry or rushing it doesn't come out that great.

4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT? A favorite... hmmmm... I guess I like hard salami... or turkey, or roast beef, or Virgina baked ham, or bologna... not sure which I would totally pick as a #1 favorite though... I like a God Father or a mixed Italian sub... Yummy!!

10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL? I think it is Frosted Flakes... although I LOVE cereal and could live on that alone for a LONG time!! :)

11. DO YOU UNTIE YOUR SHOES WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OFF? No... unless they are my COACH sneakers, then I do... only b/c they fit really well, and I don't want to ruin them. :)

12. DO YOU THINK YOU ARE STRONG? I used to think I was strong... and really I think I was... but now I think I'm loosing my strength... physically and emotionally... I'm not the person I used to be... I hope I get her back one day. I have to also work on my health and fitness and gain back some strength.... I gotta kick Bryan's ass!! ;)

13. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM? I guess Vanilla, I'm with Liz... I do like others like Butter Pecan, and Rocky Road and Mint Chocolate Chip and Cookie Dough... but mostly I just pick Vanilla so that must be my favorite... or else I'm too lazy to pick other choices when given the option.... could be.

14. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE? Depends on the person... male or female, circumstances, and I guess what stands out the most about them... but generally the first thing I notice about someone is their teeth, face, and appearance... how they present themselves also. And, totally, not in a judgmental way... just in a noticing way. :)

15. RED or PINK? Pink... only b/c EVERY. SINGLE. one of these that I have read has said PINK... and I really don't want to be out of the loop!! :) I used to not be a pink person at all, and really compared to others... like Liz & Heather, I'm not a pink person... but I would pick pink over red any day. :)

16. WHAT IS THE LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOURSELF? My husband. Does that count?? Okay... I guess not... anyway... Today I'm pretty fond of him... that may change, but for now, I am liking him. So something about me that I don't like... well of course there is a body part... or 2, or 3 or probably at least 10 that I could name that I would rather be different... and then there is the all over weight issue... but those things are easy to fix in comparison to the amount that I STRESS and hold on to things that are of Little Importance and really are NOT worth my time and life to worry about. So the least favorite thing about me is that I fail to let go of STUPID LITTLE things... I sweat the small stuff... and I have to work on not doing that any more... that and all the other things listed above and also that I curse like a truck driver... I want to fix that too.

17. WHO DO YOU MISS THE MOST? The independent person I was before I became a stay-at-home mom... although I love this "job" best of all that I have EVER had, it has changed me, and I miss who I was... I also miss Emma, and I miss my Grandparents, Ana & the girls at work... and Liz... people I was used to being around me all the time, that aren't there at all any more, or I haven't seen in a LONG time... working on that though. :)

23. FAVORITE SMELLS? my kids breath... they all still have "baby breath"... so yummy!! Even Trevor who is 4 still has the sweetest breath and the girls stuck a binky and they still have yummy breath. VERA WANG wedding... I also like the smell of gasoline... skunk when you are driving fast by it dead on the road... not in my house... I love the smell of Heather's new perfume, the smell of my parents house... b/c it means HOME... the smell of Matthew's room, not sure what is in there, but man I wish my house could smell like that... I like the smell of my babies after a bath, I love the smell of vanilla and the smell of powder.. and also the smell of a clean home. :) And the smell of laundry that dried outside all day... and the smell of laundry that was washed with beach right out of the hot dryer... I guess that is all for now. :)

I'm not really into sports watching... but I don't always, okay... well I don't ever get choice when sports are on... but I would choice MLB ~ Yankees and I do like football some too, b/c I'm constantly trying to figure it the hell out!! I love to watch figure skating... but like some of you... not sure if it is considered a sport... I also like to watch hockey... I guess I'm a big fat liar... I do like to watch sports... I do, and I would watch them with a fox and I would watch them in a box, and with a mouse and in a house, and I would watch them here and there, say I would watch them any where!! :) I also like to watch UFC and Boxing... sometimes Motocross and paintball too... but ONLY sometimes.. and ONLY for a few minutes, that is my limit with them. :)

27. HAIR COLOR? lightish brown... or medium brown... not sure... I think I'm going to dye it soon... I have cut the shit out of it.. so there isn't much else to do to torture it... but maybe I won't so it will grow back quickly again.

28. EYE COLOR? Brown, although sometimes they look like they have a little tiny... minuscule touch of green in them. (this is only my wishful thinking) :D


29. DO YOU WEAR CONTACTS? Nope, but one time I tried to put one of Priscilla's colored contacts in. LOL it was the funniest thing... and we sat at a stop sign in Goshen for the longest time while I fussed with it... it never did go in. LOL

30. FAVORITE FOOD? Italian, I guess. I LOVE anything... I'm really INTO food and eating... I like almost anything and LOVE just about anything that I try!! Hard to pinpoint one thing or even one type of food... but I guess I'll stick with Italian. :)

I deal with crap all day!! :) Love it!! 46. WHERE WERE YOU BORN? in the back of my dad's truck.. he wouldn't let my mom in the truck b/c her water broke and they had to drive all the way to Port... so he had her get in the back.. she was yelling for him to stop to help her, but he couldn't hear her, and so I was born in the back of the truck and it was only about 4 miles from the hospital... so close... yet so far away!! :P jk... I was born in Port Jervis @ the hospital!!
