MY girls

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAUREN & HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROOKE!

I am such a sucky mom today... I wanted to do a touching beautiful post dedicated to my beautiful, amazing girls that are THREE today, but I'm home for the first time this morning since driving Trevor to school. I reek of BLEACH... it is burning my throat and eyes. I have to get those lil' beauties in for a nap, clean this house b/c it is looking as bad as the "new" house and then work on making dinner. Once I make dinner I am going to feed the kids and myself then I'm going to take food over to feed "the guys" aka Bryan, Kevin & Chris... who are hard at work in the "new" house. I am going to try to clean some more in the kitchen for a little bit, but I have to get home in time to get all three little rug rats in the tub and then off to bed at a descent time b/c Trevor has school tomorrow.

So I will try to get back on here to type a wonderful, heartfelt post to my darling little ladies, BUT I'm not sure I will be able to get back here.

Happy Birthday my Libby Lou Lou girl (Lauren)... I love you more than anything in this world you are wonderful and amazing and I'm blessed to call you my own.

Happy Birthday my little Brookie Cookie Monster... I love you more than anything in this world (also) and you are amazing and wonderful and I'm blessed to call you my own.

I LOVE YOU GIRLS!! <3

KEYS!

I think today Bryan is going to meet up with our realtor and we are going to get KEYS to our new house!! yay!! I'm really hoping that things work out like I'm thinking and planning they will and we can get in there tonight to check things out and figure out where we are going to start with GUTTING the lower floor of the house and replacing it all and also where we are going to start with cleaning!! The upstairs pretty much just needs to be cleaned... REALLY REALLY REALLY well, it isn't that it is really dirty... just sitting for a while and could stand to be scrubbed down good. Also we are going to paint the kids bedrooms upstairs, so I think it is good to start with a nice clean surface.

Also, Saturday we are having Lauren's & Brooke's Third Birthday Parties!! :) wow!! I can't believe they are going to be THREE! They are so amazing!! :) I can't wait to share their special birth story on their birthday, which is Monday. I did the Baby Meme that I stole from Jenn @ My Kids Are My World... (check her out on my side bar, there is a badge there for her that will take you to her!) and I'm going to tweak it some to do the Baby Meme for when I was pregnant with Lauren and Brooke!! :)
Here is a little glimpse of how they started out...

Happy Birthday to YOU!!
~
Thank you everyone for helping me to wish Walter a very Happy 3rd Birthday today!! Walter is my nephew!! He is such a little cutie! I got to see him yesterday at my parents house. :) I snuck over while the kids were napping... well at least the girls were napping. Trevor was playing a new Wii game with Bryan. :)
~
All the little ones in our family aren't so little anymore. I mean they are little/young still, but not babies any more. I'm not sure if there will be any more babies in our family or if this is it. Which is okay. We have a lot of children in our family!! Matthew is the oldest, he is 12 his birthday is on Valentines day!! I still cannot believe that he is already 12! Next year he'll be an official teenager! Look out! Just kidding. Then is his sister Julia... she just turned 3 in October! They are my brother Ralph and sister-in-law Jamie's kids. Then there is Walter who is three today! He is my brother Ryan's son. Then there are my three kids, Trevor who is 4, Lauren who is 2 and Brooke who is 2 also! :) Trevor's birthday is in September, the 29th and Brooke & Lauren's birthday is October 6th. ~ One week apart.
~
I know some where in my computer I have to have a picture of my cutie lil' nephew Walter. I'll try to post one later.
~
For now I have to get back to cleaning... I'm on a mission today!!

Birthday Party, all weekend!

Trevor's 4th Birthday was a HIT! : ) We pretty much celebrated from Friday until Tuesday! Friday Trevor asked if he could stay home from school, just because he needed a day off. So Bryan and I decided we would let him... I mean really who doesn't need a day off every now and then?? I would like one today. (Brooke and Lauren, mostly Brooke though are extremely CRANKY!!!!!!!!!) Anyway... So we hung out did some fun things... we painted pumpkins, and we played and we just had a really good day!

Then came Saturday, the actual BIRTHDAY day... and I was up until three in the morning decorating and wrapping presents this morning... which was all definitly worth it. Trevor got up and the living room was all decorated for him and his presents were there, it was a nice surprise for him. He loved everything he got for his birthday and of course wanted to open and and use/play with everything imediately. It was okay because we were just hanging out until the afternoon... so we did play with some new toys and make some things, we got Trevor some things that he can make things with like Aquadots, and Bug Maker.

Anyway... later on Saturday, we took Trevor to Chuck E. Cheese, his cousin Katelyn and his Uncle Kevin met us down there, the place was packed and some of the games were broken, but we still had a good time. I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted to get, or as I normally get, but I got a few. We left C.E.C's and then went to the mall, it was okay there, we walked around and ate dinner, hung out for a while. Trevor got a new cell phone and a camera from the Disney Store. ;) He was a happy little camper, and Brooke & Lauren each got Mickey Mouse stuffed animals from there too.

Then on Sunday we had Trevor's birthday party... it was GREAT. The kids went outside in the morning and played some, then we all came inside, they hung out and I cleaned/straightened up some and then EVERYONE napped, even Trevor. I was pleased. I knew he would have a better time and enjoy his party better. So while they all napped, I made the cake and some rice krispie treats, and then I blew up about 60 balloons or more, and put them outside every where. Trevor said he wanted an awesome birthday party surprise when he got up, so I really tried to deliver. : ) This year we only did balloons and that was really it... we usually do more and it just gets out of hand money wise... but he was happy as could be with the balloons and they did look great... if I might say-so-myself. : ) Anyway... we had a good party and played volleyball, the kids all got along well and had fun too.

Then on Monday, we kept Trevor home from school because he had been coughing all night long and we knew he didn't fell 100% and also that he didn't [probably] sleep that well. So he had another day off. We did play some new games, Candy Land, and Shrek III match game, and a few of his new HotWheels or Matchbox tracks, but that was it. Mostly he hung out on the couch just enjoying his day off.

Then yesterday was his first day back to school in four days. I was bringing in cupcakes in the afternoon. That was the last of his birthday celebration. It was really cute, and the kids were all really well behaved. : ) Trevor had wanted chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting with chocolate cany on them... so that is what I made them. (well actually Grandma made the cupcakes, I just frosted them and put the candy on them) The kids and Trevor's teachers loved them!! It was a hit!

Here are some pictures from our 5 days of partying. : )

Up Late...

I cannot believe that it is already a quarter to two in the morning and I'm still up. It has been a long time since I was up this late/early... how ever you want to look at it.

I just got done decorating my living room for Trevor's birthday tomorrow. Mind you, this is not for his party... this is just for him. I knew he would love it. :)
I also want to add that it took me longer to make these and put them up then it did for me to actually push him out. LOL
This time that it is right now is about the time that I was getting admitted to the hospital to have Trevor. He was born at 7:10 AM. My water broke in the car about 3/4 of the way to the hospital. Not really that fun, but I didn't even know exactly what had happened. Now, when I look back and remember the entire trip was quite funny. :D
I would do it a million times over again too... just to end up with this perfect little boy that I have now. : )
So here are some pics of the decorations... please don't be too harsh with the comments, I know they are juvenile... but my son is only going to 4 I have time to improve on my art skills in the next few years. And, yes, I will be decorating the living room next weekend for Lauren and Brooke's birthdays. : )

My Little Boy

Tomorrow, September 29th, my little boy will be FOUR years old. I can hardly believe it. Really! I can't. It just seems like yesterday I found out on Super Bowl Sunday that I was pregnant, and then standing in my parents kitchen, telling them I was pregnant too. Then Bryan and I called his family and told them all. We were so happy. Finally, we were going to have a baby!! We couldn't have been happier.
I remember each of those moments like they just happened yesterday, or this morning. Now look, my little man is going to be four. He can spell and write his name. He knows his phone number and is away from me for 6 1/2 hours Monday through Friday, for the first time ever. :( He is getting so big. He is wearing size 5T jeans/pants and size 5-6 shirts, and I even got him a few Nike jackets that are size 7 and fit him well. He is also getting smarter every day too. Of course, he is still just as handsome as he started out four years ago, or maybe even cuter, if that is at all possible. Yeah.... if you can't tell... I'm still in-love with this little guy.
I remember holding him for the first time, and thinking just how amazing he was. Just looking at that beautiful little face and knowing that he was always going to be perfect to me and every day he would amaze me more and more. I couldn't have been more right.
Today, we let Trevor play hooky from school... I kind of thought about doing it and mentioned it to Bryan, but then thought that he should go and I wouldn't mention it. Then morning came, and while Trev was finishing waking up and watching some morning cartoons, I asked him what he wanted to wear to school today... pants or shorts. And he said that he wanted to just stay home and hang out... could he please have a day off?. Well what do you say to that... also it was accompanied by the cutest little face. So I told him he had to call Daddy and ask him... and of course his Dad gave in. You know you wouldn't be able to resist giving in to that sweet little voice pleading with you for a day off from school... please. : )
So we hung out and had a GREAT day. The kids all seemed to get along pretty good, and we even did an arts and crafts project... we painted pumpkins that we got when we were camping. They had an awesome time decorating them... but one word to the wise about this... IF you are planning on doing this with your children... which I highly recommend... it was fun... but if you use Crayola Washable paint... then do NOT and I repeat... DO NOT put your pumpkins outside to dry when it is going to be torrential down pours in less then 20 mins. Ummm.. yeah. Brooke and Lauren's pumpkins are almost all washed off... Trevor had his paint more spread out... so his dried faster and most of his paint stayed on. We could just rinse them totally clean and paint them again, since we did have such a good time the first time. Grandma, said just call this first time a trial run. :D
I totally enjoyed my day with the kids, and I was so glad to have Trevor home. I really do miss him like crazy when he is at school... I think about him all day long, and wonder how his day is going and if he is having fun and a good day... if he is happy. Which I think he is... and I really hope he is... but you know us mom's we have to worry. I love having him home with me!!! :)
So right now the girls are in bed, and Trevor and I have been watching a few movies... we watched Flushed Away with the girls and now we are watching Shrek... I keep on typing during commercial breaks... but I'm going to end this post now and go cuddle with my baby. My big boy, turning four tomorrow, but will always be my baby boy...
Plus, I want to give him this time, because soon he is going to bed, so I can decorate the house for him to wake up to tomorrow morning... I want to put up some balloons and stuff... I'll probably take some pictures of it... because you know me. LOL anyway... I gotta go get some cuddles in .

~ Hi. Glad you stopped by. Come on in, kick off your shoes, put your feet up relax, grab a drink and stay a while. ~
