I'm back....

Yeah, so I haven't posted any pictures yet... although I keep on promising. Sorry. I will really try my hardest to get to that soon. We have just been really busy lately. Seems like there is always some where to go and something to do... which is nice in a way, get to keep in touch with everyone and see them, and we aren't bored. BUT, we are kind of tired out and always on the go. Plus, it seems that Trevor and Brooke have some small colds. : ( I hate when my kids are sick... I just feel so bad for them, although thankfully, they are rarely sick. : ) But, with a cold, there isn't much you can do for them, just let it run it's course and go away. I hate it.

So speaking of running around, last night we were at the Olsen's for Stelle's 69th Birthday party. It was nice. Crowded a little bit, because it is such a big family and some friends too, but it was nice to see everyone and get to visit some. : ) Then we came home and the girls went right to bed... so needless to say we didn't do Lauren & Brooke's scabies treatment last night... and then I was going to do it tonight... but Bryan and I are going to dinner and then bowling with some friends/family members.... so I won't get to do it tonight either... and I have to wash their bedding before I do it and then immediately after I do it... then wash them and all this stuff... so since I have no plans for Sunday so far, and Monday there isn't any school so I won't have to get Trevor up and ready for school... I'm going to do the treatment on them Sunday night. I will be doing a lot of laundry Sunday night and Monday morning but maybe this will actually help. I hope so, although I'm extremely doubtful.

Speaking of Bryan and I going to dinner and then bowling... I am really anxious to go. 1. I love to eat out. 2. We don't really do much without our children... although I love them to pieces it is nice to sometimes have grown up time. 3. I love to eat out. 4. We will be w/ great friends and family. : ) 5. My parents are babysitting so I have no worries about my kids. : )
We are going to Outback for dinner and we are going to be going at a prime dinner time, but luckily Bryan & Kevin's cousin Dana works there, so we will get a seat pretty quickly!! Thumbs up for Jill calling Dana, and two thumbs up for Dana seating us quickly!! Yippee!! I cannot wait to eat... and I'm thinking I will have a nice drink with dinner too... or maybe two or three... just a thought!! ; )

COS (change of subject) At 7:30 or so this morning Trevor came in our room and announced that it was still snowing. He was pretty excited. : ) Then he brought me a pair of his boots and a glove... he said he didn't know where his other glove was though. So I told him that we would look for it later. He got upset. I couldn't understand what would make him cry... I told him we would find it or we could get a new pair... which I plans of doing anyway. Then he told me because he wanted to go outside to play right then and there. Yes, at 7:30 AM Trevor was ready to go out and play in the snow. I love that little guy. : )

We convinced him that we would let him go out later, like at least after he had some breakfast. He was okay with that... not too happy but he dealt with it okay. ~ Then I went off to town with my mom just do a little shopping and get some pampers and some other things, and of course I was looking for some gloves, which I did find and buy for Trevor. So now that I have been home and did a few things in the house and put the girl for a nap... who also want to go play in the snow, but have no winter boots ~ Trevor is outside playing happily in the very WET snow. And, having a blast!!! : ) He is an outdoor kid all the way! I love that he wants to be outside playing all the time instead of sitting in the house. : ) I think Brooke & Lauren will both be like him with that also.

Well I have some house work to do, as always and I have to do some laundry up today so that I won't have a ton when I do the girls bedding and all that on Sunday and Monday morning... so I better get a move on. Plus, it is almost time for Trevor to come in and get changed to dry warm clothes and go for a rest.

I would say that I would try to post some pictures while everyone is resting... but I can't swear to it... I'm not even going to mention it again... and when I do post the pictures you will all be surprised!! : )

Birthday Party, all weekend!

Trevor's 4th Birthday was a HIT! : ) We pretty much celebrated from Friday until Tuesday! Friday Trevor asked if he could stay home from school, just because he needed a day off. So Bryan and I decided we would let him... I mean really who doesn't need a day off every now and then?? I would like one today. (Brooke and Lauren, mostly Brooke though are extremely CRANKY!!!!!!!!!) Anyway... So we hung out did some fun things... we painted pumpkins, and we played and we just had a really good day!

Then came Saturday, the actual BIRTHDAY day... and I was up until three in the morning decorating and wrapping presents this morning... which was all definitly worth it. Trevor got up and the living room was all decorated for him and his presents were there, it was a nice surprise for him. He loved everything he got for his birthday and of course wanted to open and and use/play with everything imediately. It was okay because we were just hanging out until the afternoon... so we did play with some new toys and make some things, we got Trevor some things that he can make things with like Aquadots, and Bug Maker.

Anyway... later on Saturday, we took Trevor to Chuck E. Cheese, his cousin Katelyn and his Uncle Kevin met us down there, the place was packed and some of the games were broken, but we still had a good time. I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted to get, or as I normally get, but I got a few. We left C.E.C's and then went to the mall, it was okay there, we walked around and ate dinner, hung out for a while. Trevor got a new cell phone and a camera from the Disney Store. ;) He was a happy little camper, and Brooke & Lauren each got Mickey Mouse stuffed animals from there too.

Then on Sunday we had Trevor's birthday party... it was GREAT. The kids went outside in the morning and played some, then we all came inside, they hung out and I cleaned/straightened up some and then EVERYONE napped, even Trevor. I was pleased. I knew he would have a better time and enjoy his party better. So while they all napped, I made the cake and some rice krispie treats, and then I blew up about 60 balloons or more, and put them outside every where. Trevor said he wanted an awesome birthday party surprise when he got up, so I really tried to deliver. : ) This year we only did balloons and that was really it... we usually do more and it just gets out of hand money wise... but he was happy as could be with the balloons and they did look great... if I might say-so-myself. : ) Anyway... we had a good party and played volleyball, the kids all got along well and had fun too.

Then on Monday, we kept Trevor home from school because he had been coughing all night long and we knew he didn't fell 100% and also that he didn't [probably] sleep that well. So he had another day off. We did play some new games, Candy Land, and Shrek III match game, and a few of his new HotWheels or Matchbox tracks, but that was it. Mostly he hung out on the couch just enjoying his day off.

Then yesterday was his first day back to school in four days. I was bringing in cupcakes in the afternoon. That was the last of his birthday celebration. It was really cute, and the kids were all really well behaved. : ) Trevor had wanted chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting with chocolate cany on them... so that is what I made them. (well actually Grandma made the cupcakes, I just frosted them and put the candy on them) The kids and Trevor's teachers loved them!! It was a hit!

Summer, Summer, Summer!

I am totally loving having Trevor home all the time!! Today is his second official day of Summer vacation! ; ) Things are going GREAT! I'm really determined to have a really fun filled summer with the kids this year. They are all at a pretty good age to do a bunch of stuff... so we are going to do be doing and going as much as we can without killing ourselves!

Yesterday the kids all got up at their leisure, which was really nice for Trevor, he has been having to get up at 7:00 AM every week day... so I'm sure without totally realizing it, he enjoyed sleeping in and not being nagged to get up and go to the bathroom, eat and get dressed. I am very much a morning person, getting up early doesn't bother me so much... but Trevor on the other hand... not so much a morning person, at all. Well, he does get up pretty early on his own, but he doesn't want to be rushed to do anything. I guess I can't really blame him.

Well anyway... yesterday once everyone was up and about well all ate some breakfast and hung out. The kids all played with some Matchbox and Hotwheels cars, and were having a blast and getting along super well!! I was proud.

Then we got dressed and headed off to my moms house... it is only about 5 minutes away. We got there and hung out... the kids got to play with Julia... their cousin. It was nice. We had lunch and then everyone went outside to play. I really want to try to get the kids outside a lot this summer... it is good for them, they LOVE it.. and it will cut down on all the crap all over the house that I will have to clean and pick up! LOL

Here are some pictures of the girls... I know it doesn't seem like I have as many of them as I do of Trevor, but I really do. ; ) Actually lately, Trevor has been telling me, "Okay, Mom. No more pictures!" Kind of funny. But, I guess I do take a lot of pictures. ; )
Anyway these are pictures of us outside yesterday in the play camper. It is an old popup camper that we have set up for the kids to play in like a play house or a fort... whatever they imagine it to be. ; ) Trevor loves to be in the camper, and now the girls too have really taken an interest in being in there too! They really like to go in and out and in and out over and over. Trevor likes to go in and lock the door and hang out in there. They will probably like that one day too! Anyway... these are some pictures of us out there. Please excuse the funky clothes... they were playing and they get into EVERYTHING when they play so I have decided, forget dressing them cute and dress them for play! ; )

My Brooke Girl!

Here she is... my other lil' miss cutie pants! She was totally copying off of Lauren... I think she saw the great response Lauren got with the glasses and wanted to put on a show for us too! ; ) It was just as funny when she did it as when Lauren first came out with them on! We were laughing so hard... it was great! ; ) She opted to leave the hat out... but instead she is sporting some really sexy RED beads... you know they are always in style! ; ) They are just too funny!

My lil' cutie pie... Lauren! She is so silly! Trevor, Lauren and Brooke were playing in Trevor's room and this is how she came out... we were laughing our a$$es off! : ) Besides the COOL shades, she is also wearing Trevor's ski hat, from last year. : ) I just love the look on her face in this picture too... it totally captured the moment of the pick... how funny/weird it was! ; )

Real Baby Doll

Lauren had her very own 'real' baby doll! Brooke is so little she fits pretty good in the little toy umbrella strollers they got from Santa for Christmas! : ) She liked being in there at first... but then after a few times getting pushed into the crib and some toys and being choked... ummm I mean HUGGED by Lauren she had enough. : ) She was in the stroller for about 20 mins though. Pretty funny the things these two come up with... I'm not even sure how Brooke got in the stroller without falling... usually she backs up to it... but it keeps moving back too, until she falls on her tush. Then she gets up and is soooo mad that she fell and has a little temper tantrum, well not so little temper tantrum... they seem to be getting bigger every time. They are both little Drama Queens and really good at their fits! : ) But they make us laugh all the time, and they really do love one another and Trevor too! That is all that matters at the end of the day! : )

Where do babies come from???

Were do babies come from??? Fisher Price of course, silly! Where did you think they came from? Didn't you see the box says "Little People" on it. : D This was the funniest thing... I had the boxes laying on the floor and trying to put together the house and the barn, and Lauren kept crawling in the one box... so I thought it would be perfect for a picture... I set up both boxes and put the girls in them. The box that Brooke is in works a little bit better because it had more clear plastic then the other box... but still so cute, and they look like they could come packaged. I just love these pictures, I wish I had done this when Trevor was little too... how funny. I could tell them all that they came from Fisher Price. LOL : )

Brooke is coloring

Brooke is so funny... she will just lay on the floor on her belly to play. Lauren doesn't do this, and I don't remember Trevor doing this at this age, only when he got older. : ) It is so funny to watch her just plop down on the floor and get on her belly... she drives bikes and cars like this, and she will play with almost anything on her belly. : ) She had gotten a crayon from in Trevor's room and a coloring book he had left on his little table and she was coloring. She was doing a pretty good job staying on the paper and she was so happy and so intense about doing it. Pretty cute to watch her little face as she concentrated so hard at coloring. : )
