Yeah baby I'm the lucky one. :) Or whatever. I got to drag out the Christmas decoration boxes and then, I also got to put up most if not all, well lets just say 99.9999999% of them, I did have some assistance from the kids... the five and three year old kids, mind you.
AND!!! AND! AND! AND and and and and and and and GUESS WHAT!!! NO! really take a guess!! Go ahead!!
I get to take them all down. ALL by myself!! Nope, I don't even get any help from the five and three year olds. NONE. Zip. Nata. NO HELP. yay!! :) I'm delirious with excitement!! I can hardly stand to take a break from doing it to come type this post. :P
I have most of the stuff piled up on the couch... dangerous to leave it there with all three kids playing in the living room right now. My thought process is sort of like... the more they break the less I have to pack away. JUST KIDDING. lol (well sort of b/c it is true. what they break won't get kept and packing into a garbage bag is a LOT easier than a Rubber Maid bin! just sayin')
So now I'm off to dig out the Christmas bins that are buried in my bedroom, the 1/2 we aren't using yet. And, BTW, when I say "buried" I'm not just saying it because they are under one or two things, or just in the back corner and I have to take a few more steps to get to them... I'm sayin' they are BURIED!! Like buried under tons of crap. Crap that was all over the house, that we took from all the rooms of the house and shoved in our bedroom before our New Years Eve party. Yeah. That kind of buried. Oh the joy. OH the fun of being the one that gets to take care of all this. I freakin' love it. :D <----- that is me with a huge big smile on my face!! I can't wait to get back to the cleaning up!
**all sarcasm aside, I am happy to be the one to get to do all this because then I know it is done right and nothing will get broken, I mean once I have it packed that is... while on the couch there are NO guarantees. AND, also taking down all the Christmas decorations is making my house look very empty-ish... BUT in a good way! like less clutter. so maybe I will ONLY have to take down the decorations and put them away and I can be done with this cleaning and organizing shit I was thinking about. ~ just a thought. we'll see. **

508!
i'm here.
here i sit.
i'm typing.
while blinded by the sun.
i'm not complaining because it seems the sun is only here for a few hours each day lately.
by the time we get home from picking up Trevor the sun is already gone. :(
since i'm solar powered this kind of sucks.
i'm procrastinating by typing this post.
i'm cleaning the downstairs.
today we are getting more sheetrock and going to work on finishing this place.
i got rid of over 20 garbage bags of stuff... clothes mainly, and i feel GREAT!
tis the season for giving right?? who cares what you are giving, as long as it is nice and will help someone.
i gave 6 bags of clothes to Jill for her new niece.
i gave 2 bags of clothes to my MIL to mail to my BIL for his daughter.
i gave 4 or 5 bags of clothes and other baby stuff to Melissa for her son Leland.
i gave 6 bags to Dianna for her daughter and maybe her sister's baby.
i have some bags for Walter, my nephew, that i will give today to my SIL.
i have a bag of girl clothes to give to a lady at the school for her daughter.
and...
I...
STILL....
HAVE...
M * O * R* E
STUFF
to give away!
AGGGGGGGGGGG!!
where did all this stuff come from.
I only have three kids... how do I have so much clothes. plus they are only 5 & 3... it isn't like we have been collecting stuff for that long and I have gotten rid of stuff before this... this isn't the first time. i have given and sold a LOT of stuff.
point is that we are over loaded with clothes and toys and i always feel like i need to get more anyway... i have to get some control over myself... i rather take my kids to Disney or something than have 40+ bags of clothes to give away in another couple of years. not that i don't like clothing other children with my kids outgrown clothes... I LOVE to do that... I love to help out and make sure they get good use. But i think we are over doing it some where in the buying situation.
oh well.
i'm off to clean some more, i am going to be in a mad dash to see how much i can get done before i have to go get Trevor from school... which isn't very long.
have a great day

This time...
This time tomorrow... we will be on the road! yay!!
I am excited to go. We are going camping. We have a new camper, we go it last year but it is a 2008. It makes camping with three children a lot more reasonable and FUN!!
We did the whole tent thing... we even did it with THREE kids... we set it up... it RAINED and poured and the wind was terrible. We stood outside in the pouring rain, with the wind making it BEAT on us like bee bees and tried to hold our tent together so it wouldn't get wet.
It got wet.
We were obviously soaked.
We set everything out to dry and cleaned up the mess.
Everything dried. We put it all back in. We had a good night. All three kids slept pretty well.
We camped we had fun. We had another storm the third night there.
It rained, it poured the wind was horrible.
We stood in it and tried to hold our tent together so it wouldn't get wet.
IT. GOT. SOAKING WET.
A - G - A - I - N !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We were cold and soaking wet again too!
It was NOT FUN!!
We got it all dried out and dried up. Put everything back in and it went well. The kids slept well and we had a good camping trip! :)
The next year....
We... BOUGHT a camper!! YAY!! now this is really FUN!!! :)
I love it. You can pack stuff and leave it packed... when we camped in the tent I had to constantly pack and un-pack EVERYTHING we took each time... now we have things that are just for camping that stay in the camper.
BUT... there is still packing, cleaning and organizing... all of which I'm supposed to be doing ...
RIGHT. NOW!!
I have some of it packed... and some of it cleaned... like 1/300th of it... done. Yeah. Not looking too good. Especially not with me sitting here at the computer. UGH!!
Worse part of all is that my kids... yeah those little cuties that I always talk about... they are BEING the BEST BEHAVED children in the entire UNIVERSE!! I swear. They have been playing so nicely with one another and watching some Disney Channel and eating cookies and drinking milk... so I should be getting EVERYTHING done lickity split...
NOPE.
I'm sitting here procrastinating ... MAJORLY!!
I suck.
I'm getting up.
I have to.
Bryan will be home at 3 and we have to go get groceries.
I think we are also getting some company later. I'm not sure.
I have 299% more to go with cleaning packing and organizing the house and the camper.
alright...
here. I. go.
Hitting publish... then getting up off my duff and doing something... I might be back to let ya'll know what I actually got done and the world record speed I didn't do it in. :)
have a great weekend all.
xoxoxo

Is it wrong???
Is it wrong to have 22 + bathroom hand towels?? I'm cleaning my bathroom, like always, but this time I am doing a really good thorough cleaning of it and I was putting away all the towels, an I was thinking there were quite a few, but I was a little surprised to count 22 hand towels. I'm sure there are a few in the wash too. I like to have a lot of things like that... but is 22 too many?? You wouldn't even want to know how many wash clothes I have. Even after I got rid of a entire Price Chopper bag full of older wash clothes. Maybe I have OCD about over stocking on things like this..... Hmmm??

Ladies & Gentlemen...
Ladies & Gentlemen... this is mambo # 200!! Okay... it isn't a mambo, but if I had said "post" it wouldn't have nearly been as cool/creative!! lol But, it is my 200th post... thanks most of all to NaBloPoMo! I posted 44 times in the month of November!! I know it was a painful journey so lets not recap on it! And, this December I am doing the Holidailies, but it really doesn't seem as painful, at least not for me.
When I first sat down here to do an entry, I was going to title it as ~May Be OCD Baby! ~ I just got done putting Trevor for a nap and then I cleaned my bathroom quick. It was only the first time today that I cleaned it but at least the 5th time this week... counting Monday as the beginning of the week. Bryan thinks that I am extremely excessive with how often I clean the bathroom, and might even consider it OCD. He says that no one cleans their bathroom as much as I do... and that there is NO reason to clean your toilet bowl every single day. ~ Which I do. I can't help it. I am thinking he might be right with the OCD thing... I do clean my bathroom Every. Single. Day! I usually clean it while I have the girls in the bath... I cannot leave them alone there, and wouldn't want to, but I also don't want to just sit there. I mean I do wash them up and wash their hair and play with them for a little bit. Then I clean the bathroom. It is like multi-tasking!! So that is part of my defense, and the other part is that it is the ONLY room in my house that I can totally, thoroughly and completely clean in about 15 minutes and have it look awesome!!
So, I'll let you decide.... Cleaning disorder?? Or just keeping up with it???

WOW Wednesday!!
Good morning everyone out there in blogger land... I'm sitting here at my computer freezing!! My kids are all playing happily in my son's bedroom. Knock on wood... that they keep on playing so nicely. ;o)
It is freakin' cold in these parts today!! No reason for weather like this. None at all. If it was going to actually do something like snow... then okay, you can see if being in the 20's and 30's, but when it is this way for NO reason at all, come on that is just ridiculous. And, trust me, I'm not looking for any snow either!! I think "cold" winter weather should be about 50 at the least.
Oh well! The kids are done playing nicely in Trevor's bedroom together... they are all swarmed around the computer like a mob of angry wasps just waiting to attack me... Uh! here we go... Lauren is nudging her way up here on my lap... and she is up. Brooke is begging me to "color"... meaning she sees the pen laying here on the computer desk... she LOVES to color... she will color for the longest time... Lauren isn't so interested in coloring... well at least not as long as Brooke will do it... and Trevor is at the age where he is drawing "real" things... it is soooo cool!!
Anyway... it has taken me all morning to type this... I was on the phone with my mom, then I called Desire and and then I talked to Bryan a bunch of times, and then I talked to Desire again, then I had the kids Pine Sol-ing the kitchen floor... Hey don't judge me. They like it. They ask to do and so I oblige and let them do things that make them happy!! : ) They each had a wad of paper towels sprayed with some Pine Sol solution and were happily cleaning away! Trevor even cleaned the baseboard and the heater for me... the girls are still at it Trevor had to use the potty and hasn't returned to us yet.
What are the child labor laws in NY state anyway??? LOL

Yeah, Yeah... Today is Friday!!
This will be short. I have to go make lunch for the wild bunch!!! I'm not sure what it is today... but my kids are off the wall BUSY and NUTS and into EVERYTHING!!! I guess maybe it is because we have been in the house for about a week now straight. Well minus going to all our doctor appointments... and grocery shopping last night. WOW. Still not the same as going outside to play... and scream and run free and wild without being told to be quiet and use an indoor voice and to slow down. I totally understand where they are coming from... I myself miss going outside, and even more miss them going out and burning off some energy.
The other problem today is that they are wild and crazy... which is okay I guess... but then they are all taking turns crying and being whiny. So I constantly have some children being NUTS and one or more children crying. I really am thinking I'm loosing my mind or will shortly. I guess it is because they all have colds and Lauren is still not feeling well from her skin thing going on... and I'm sure she isn't feeling well from her two biopsies yesterday. :( I'm trying my hardest to be sympathetic to all of them, but it is really trying my patients. Thank God it is almost nap time.
On the Momisodes Blog that I read ~ Sandy has Thursdays as her "Thankful Day" ~ she makes her posts about something she is thankful for. I was thinking about trying that too... although today isn't Thursday I'm thankful for at least two things I can think of... 1. I'm thankful it isn't Thursday so I can bitch away and not feel too badly about it... and 2. I'm soooo thankful/grateful that NAP TIME is right around the corner!! ~ Not that I'll be doing something fun and/or relaxing... nope I'll be cleaning my house and possibly making some brownies. But I will be doing it by myself with no little toads underfoot or crying at me. LOL I do love my kids!!! ; ) And, honestly I'm am the most thankful for them, and the wonderful, crazy, magic, sometimes hectic, beautiful life that I have!!!

Murphy's Oil Soap Bleach Dust Dishsoap!
So, that is what my hands and clothes smell like. : ) Yeah. Yummy. I know. I think this could be the next line in perfume, forget Vera Wang and Sarah Jessica Parker and Este Lauder... here comes the newest fragrance. Sparklin' Kitchen! LOL
I'm, well actually I was feeling super ambitious yesterday and started to do a thorough cleaning of my kitchen, which by the way was well deserving of it.
I broke out the Murphy's Oil Soap, and some HOT water, and the Windex, Goo-Gone, Pledge multi-surface, rags, paper towels, sponges and some elbow grease and got started. I cleaned out each cupboard then cleaned the cupboard itself inside and out. Let me state the it was NEVER fun...but today, as I'm at it yet again it is really REALLY really not fun at all. I'm thinking that if I had some good wine, or hell any wine at all, I would be a happy camper or a happy cleaner, anyway, I would be happy. The closest I'm getting to this dream is that I have whine. You know... whine. From my three kids. Trevor is home today because when he coughs his stomach hurts, which I can understand, he has been coughing a lot, but he also told me that the bone in his neck is hurting him. He pointed near his collar bone, so I'm guessing/assuming/thinking he has a sore throat. GREAT. :( Hope it is just from his dry cough or post nasal drip that he has all night long that has him coughing, and nothing more, like strep or something. The fact that he is okay most of the day and hasn't really complained about it any other time, I think he will be fine.
But, back to the exciting topic at hand... cleaning. My kitchen is not that big really, but damn it is dirty!! That is what is taking me so long. And, actually I'm slightly embarrassed at how filthy it is. Don't worry if you have been here recently and ate something... the general areas of use are pretty clean... but the other areas are just down right scary!! I'm talking about the top of the fridge and other such areas. I'm telling you if social services came here earlier and saw my fridge top, they would be taking my children IMMEDIATELY from my home. That is bad. LOL
But I cleaned it. I'm almost done, and have just run out of steam. I thought if I sat here for a moment and did some procrastinating... um... I mean some posting, I would feel more like finishing up.... BUT I don't. chuckle chuckle.
Oh well I guess I have to get tough with myself and go back to cleaning. I really want to finish up in the kitchen today to get to another room or at least do the other rooms semi well so that we can decorate for Halloween. :)
Okay, the phone rang and I totally forgot that I was typing this. DUH! I was cleaning and talking and all that good stuff. I'm almost done with the kitchen. Thank goodness.
I guess I have done enough procrastinating... for now.
I'll be back.
