crap

crap. not enough time to post pictures before dinner.
I'm home. got Trevor from school. he had a great day, but is tired. I can tell because he is slightly whiny, not too bad though.
I know I'm tired and I didn't even go to school today. :P

got some Christmas decorations down. so that's a good start.
I also put laundry in the dryer.
started another load in the wash.
picked up all the beads the girls had scattered every where.
took out the garbage.
picked up a bunch of toys in the living room.
put away clean laundry that I folded out of the dryer.
cleaned up the tooth brushing stuff in the bathroom.
took the laundry downstairs.
put the dog out.

and now, I'm off to do some more.

pictures will be coming tonight or tomorrow. :)

Rambling

I've only got a few minutes, so this will be pretty short and probably all random stuff.
For those of you that are new here, I'm a major procrastinator with most things. Especially house work and stuff like that. I do like to do it and get it done, but when I have a time limit then I'm shot. You will usually find me on here posting about what I need to do, rather than just doing it. :D yep, that's me. lol

Anyway, today I got a few things done that I wanted to do, but most of my day felt shot by the time I took Trevor to school at 11, then went to the Post Office then home, it was after 11:20, and I felt like most of the day was gone... since I have to leave to pick him up in a few minutes... it is after 2:20 already.

BUT...

I did get to make a meal plan for the next two weeks!! yay! I have been meaning to do that for a while now. I'm sick of making and eating the same things all the time so this will maybe give us some variety and also then there will be no need for guessing on what to make for dinner, I will have a plan set. I wrote it all out and even made my grocery list to go with it. I'm also going to try to get Bryan to go grocery shopping tonight so that I can really stick to my meal plan.

I also did a project with the girls. Sort of pre-school related, because we were working with fine motor skills, lacing beads and learning the colors and shapes of the beads. :) And, best of all it was fun. We had a few moments when the girls got frustrated and walked away, but because I stayed calm and cheerful they came back quickly.

I took some pictures of them doing the beads. I was trying to edit out my messy house, but then figured I would take some pictures of that too. Then do the mad dash to clean it up and see how much I could get done after I get home with T-man but before Bryan is home tonight. Then I can post some "after" pictures of how much I was able to get done.

I'm sure this is all very interesting to you all!! lol probably not, but this is what kind of motivates me to get things done. Sort of a challenge and also the chance to get to show what I did get to do today. :)

*HOLY SHIT! ~ a huge spider just crawled out from under my monitor... OMG!! ugh! thank God I'm not that afraid of spiders... it startled me but didn't freak me out totally. ** LOL

I took a picture of the interruption, and will post it later with the other pictures! :)

So for a 1/2 day, because that is what I'm considering it I feel like I did quite a bit. The meal planning is definitely helpful and the girls and I got some time together doing fun stuff... so that is really really important to me. :) I need to do a lot more of this with them. :)

I'll be back to post pictures when I'm home from getting my lil' man from school. It takes too long for me to do it now.

Hurry Hurry Hurry

I'm here, but only for a second. I'm making GREAT progress today but there is still a LOT more to do.

So far today I have done these things...
(and don't laugh at the little things, it makes my list look WAY better!) ;)

~ got up
~ feed the kids breakfast
~ started a load of wash
~ started the dryer
~ folded a load of laundry
~ made a cup of coffee
~ AND drank it. :)
~ cleaned up from breakfast
~ made two batches of brownies
~ made one tray of deviled eggs
~ boiled more eggs for second tray of deviled eggs
~ boiling eggs for mini egg salad sandwiches
~ cleaned up dog pee TWICE
~ cleaned up a mess from water
~ cleaned up dishes
~ emptied dishwasher
~ re-loaded dirty dishes in dishwasher
~ got out bowls and stuff we will need for party
~ sliced up the tomatoes for later
~ cut up two limes
~ cut up two lemons
~ cleaned the cooler we are going to use for ice
~ put out new toilet paper
~ yelled at the kids for making MORE messes
~ yelled at the kids to please get along and cut the crap of fighting with one another
~ prayed that the damn kids would just stop for once today
~ begged the kids to please stop fighting with one another
~ told the kids they HAVE to stop teasing each other and screaming
~ told the kids to NOT take out any more toys
~ still hoping that the kids start to listen SOON!

so that is all for now... I'm off to do more. I'll have a new updated list in a little while.

OH!! I have also called Bryan a few times with more items for him to add to his list... thankfully he is the one going to the store today and I don't have to worry about that. :) yay. good husband.

MOST DEFINITELY!

i most definitely have to post new pictures of the bar area... these don't do it any justice... we have cleaned it up a lot and Bryan framed out the windows and stuff... it looks a million times better then it does in these pictures which are only a few days old... but I will have to try to post them tomorrow...

I think I'll post the kitchen pictures then sit down and have some tv time because I know tomorrow there will be NO rest for the weary. lol

also we are going to change some more things with the house... we are just doing what we can for now to make it livable and nice but stay within our budget... this isn't our house... YET... so we don't want to dump a lot of money... well a lot MORE money into it with out knowing for sure that we are going to own it one day.

like the big window in the bar area, we want to and will one day replace that window... we are also going to get a new door and put down flooring... probably hardwood and tile... but we are still trying to figure that out... for now the floor is pretty ghetto, but whatever... at least it is something to walk on that is safe. lol

well anyway... i'm off... this time I promise the next pictures/post will be the kitchen wall. :)

nothing coming to mind

Nothing was coming to mind for a post title... I guess maybe b/c my mind is just swimming full of thoughts.

One thing that is on my mind is getting our house done. We have been working out butts off on the downstairs... since the upstairs is pretty much done... well for now, we are going to change things in the kitchen, bathroom and living room, and probably the kids rooms too eventually, but it is all put together and livable... so that is all that counts. Downstairs wasn't all put together... and barely livable... although we aren't living down there just yet... we want to be able to use the space.

We are having a bar area, and we are having our third annual New Years Eve Bash, so we want to get it all done... yesterday I primed the entire room, and last night we got it painted... it looks GREAT!! I love the color we got... which was actually an OOPS color from Home Depot... so we got BEAR paint for $5 a gallon!! wow!! I know. The color is sort of an Army greenish brown... which sounds not so attractive, but it really looks great... it looks like a very rich color. I love it . If we have any left I'm going to do one of the walls in my kitchen that color... and if it isn't too dark then I'm going to paint the entire kitchen that color... thankfully we got two gallons of it. :)

We have a lot of work to finish up and a LOT of cleaning and organizing... we have been trying to live in just the upstairs of the house... to work on the downstairs... but finally we are putting stuff downstairs... but it isn't totally ready so we have stuff all in boxes still and piled up... it is really starting to get to me... I can't take the mess and clutter any more.

Also I have been vacuuming, dusting and cleaning... and then we Spackle and sand and you can't even tell that I cleaned before... UGH!! So we are going to Spackle and sand a few more times then I will do a final cleaning before our party.

There are a million more things on my mind, but I'm getting all stressed out just thinking about typing them out... so I'm not even going to put them in this post...

CHANGE OF SUBJECT!!

yay!! Christmas is two days away!! Here in NY we will have a white Christmas without a doubt... b/c we got a crap load of snow over the weekend. It was unbelievable how much snow we got Friday and Saturday and then even on Sunday it managed to squeeze out some more snow. It is only 2 degrees here. I'm not too pleased with this... it is way too cold to do anything. Yesterday I kept Trevor home from school, it was just too cold to go outside in. But today they were going to the movies to see either Bolt or Despereaux (sp?). And we also had gifts for his teachers that he had to take in. And this way I also got to come to my parents house and use the computer. :)

I hope they don't loose my son at the movie field trip... I'm really kind of concerned about this. and that is putting it as mildly as I can. If I told you all my true thoughts and feelings on this you would all probably think I'm totally effed up and crazy... the thoughts that I worry about with my kids is unreal. I'm so paranoid that something HORRIBLE is going to happen to them. I can't even tell you the anxiety that I have over it.

Well anyway... enough about that.

I guess I should go feed the girls some breakfast and I'm going to have some coffee.

500!!

500! although the post before this one hardly counts as a post because of the amount of words in it... but since what is says is pretty serious, then I guess I'll count it. :)

I went shopping this morning. I got up at 3:35 AM and headed off to Wal-Mart for all the HOT sales. I've gone other years... and I have to say that this year... was HORRIBLE!! I mean a total mess!! wow. It was as if they had no idea that today was Black Friday.

We got there around 4 AM. ~ We being, Heather, Barb, Rachel & myself... and we had to wait in line, in the store, thankfully, b/c the line did end up going out of the store and onto the sidewalk, for an hour. The sales started at 5 AM and last year they let you in the store to walk around before that... this year... no such luck.

The hour went fast though, so that was good. But then the HELL began. Barb and I went off to the toys... Heather headed for the DVD's and clothes, and Rachel went to electronics... we had a plan and we were going to get everything on our lists!

YEAH right!!

the store was crazy. people were sort of nice, in a PUSHY way. they had NO idea what they had, they had NO idea how many they had... it was so unorganized and chaotic! they also didn't have everything that was advertised in the flyer... to which they replied, "if they didn't have it, they didn't have it and they weren't responsible for not having it." GREAT!

one of the things they had that I was trying to get, the one thing that was a BIG thing on my list for Trevor, because I knew he really wanted/loved it was the Batman Wayne Tech Mega Wings, for $30 ~ could NOT find it any where, I don't think they had it at all. Unless it was or IS still in the room that was full from 18 tractor trailer loads of stuff, that they had no idea what was in there.

oh well. I'm sure I'm more upset about it than he will be Christmas morning... when he doesn't even remember that he wanted it because there is so much other stuff.

They had stuff where they didn't even know where it was. In the HUNTING section we found Wii games and DVD's that were supposed to be by Electronics and the other DVD's that were by the food section... no one knew where they were... we found them by accident... but didn't care because we got our Wii Game. :)

I got the kids a bunch of board games, which I'm happy about... I think we will have a GREAT time playing them together! It will be good for them to have something to do that isn't TV or movie or whatever and something that we will do as a family. :)

We got:

  • Memory
  • Cooties
  • Ants in The Pants
  • Trouble
  • Guess Who

and I can't remember if there is more or not... seems like there should be. But I know my parents also got them some...

  • Hungry Hungry Hippos
  • Perfection
  • Operation
  • Sorry

I think. I'll have to check with my mom... I know that Trevor will LOVE Perfection and probably be really awesome at it... and I know he wants Operation... so if they didn't get it then we will. We bought him some big fancy Operation with different modes and stuff... BUT... it sucked! It was NOT fun and hard to figure out and we never even played it... the kids messed around with it and all but that was it... finally some of the pieces were missing and I just got sick of seeing it around, so I threw it out.

I also got the kids some movies... since I'm preaching that I rather have them play games and all that... I wanted to let you all know that I'm human and I do let them watch TV and movies... I pray for that quiet time... for my sanity, I NEED it! Only they don't really watch TV and movies that great... only sometimes. And, only Trevor really... the girls some, but it is hard for them to sit that long. :P

I got them the new Tinkerbell movie and also Wall E. So that is good.

Well today our goal is to clean the house and then decorate some, and then I'm going to try to work on cleaning up more down stairs... hopefully the guy will come soon to start working on our foundation and then we will be able to finish up the downstairs... which I really want, hope and pray will be done before Christmas... although it isn't looking too good. We'll see.

I'm trying to have faith...

talkin' about closets!

last night Bryan worked on the girls closet and got it looking pretty good. he made two shelves that we can put clothes or toys on and then made a hanging bar and a shelf above that... we have a lot of space now. i just have to get it all painted before i put stuff in there... but that shouldn't take too long.

i also want to work on painting the trim in their room and also to do a second coat around the windows. then in Trevor's room i still have to paint all his trim, his closet, around his windows and also his stripe around his room that is going to be white also. and then there is the second coat in the bathroom and then i'll be done with painting... for now. once the down stairs is done then i will be at it all over again but that will be okay... at least i will get a break in between.

then once we get the downstairs done up.. then at some point once we have some more money saved up... we are going to re-do the kitchen so then i will paint the kitchen. for now i'm just leaving it the plain off white that it is. no use in painting it if we are going to rip everything out and re-do it.

so that is all. for now i'm at my parents and i have some things i need to work on... then later tonight i think i'll work on painting in Trevor's room while Bryan finishes up the shelves in the girls room.

that's all for now.

cold

it is freezing out today. and i'm so not ready for this kind of cold weather!! uh! the kind that cripples you and makes you want to stay in bed all day long and never move again till spring.

okay, enough about that.

last night while i was looking for ideas for the kids for Christmas, the were all saying things that they wanted and one of the things that Lauren and Brooke really want is a "puter"!! you know... a com-puter! only they just call it a puter. I guess it is their pet name for it. lol

Trevor told me about some games that he wishes to have... some board games, so I'm good with that... and the girls want Hungry Hungry Hippo's... which I think my parents are going to get them. that is all i got for now.

i was sort of thinking about leapsters for the girls, from Leap Frog... but they are for 4 and up so i'm not too sure... plus that takes an idea away from next year. and i'm not sure, if i'm spending the money anyway, that i should go with the basic leapster only because they are a little on the young side, or just wait it out and when they are age appropriate get them the better, or more advanced one.

still thinking that one over.

there are some games for the leapster l-max that we can get for Trev and they are great. they are learning games and he really enjoys playing them. they work for long car rides and resting at nap time for him. :)

today my parents are off to do some holiday shopping... so i'm sure they will come up with some great ideas for the kids... i'll have to see what they get and maybe we can add to it or something. but i think i'm getting more along the lines of Sandy from Momisodes... teach the children to give this year instead of getting a HUGE amount of toys and what not under the tree... keep it more simple. they will be happy with whatever they get. they are good like that.

although they do say they want everything from on every commercial on television they are pretty understanding about the fact that they won't actually get it. :) they are good kids and very understanding for three and five year olds. i'm really lucky.

well i'm off to wake up those beautiful children and get them ready to take Trevor to school, although I really dread going outside today, we have to go. :(

have a great day! and stay warm!

Midnight blogging

I'm up. I would be sound asleep if it weren't for waiting on laundry to dry. My blankets to be exact. Today while the roofers were fixing our roof there was some sort of problem and some how a bunch of sawdust and dust from foam insulation and worst of all CARPENTER ANTS fell from the ceiling in there and they got all over everything including my bed and bedding. ugh. I cleaned most of the mess... I found some stuff that I missed while vacuuming, but nothing major... and I've been washing my bedding. It isn't going to bad, just it is late and I'm tired and wish I was sleeping already.
I would maybe be further along with my washing too, but we had some company tonight... which was nice. Heather and Chris came over, they picked up the other part of hutch that my brother gave me, that I passed on to them. It was nice, very nice... beautiful even, but too big for my kitchen. And also Melissa and Leland came over for a visit. :) It was nice. Melissa and her family live only 5 houses up the road from us... so that is good. I also was able to drop off the 7 bags of clothes and potty chair to her after we all visited.
Anyway... Trevor is off from school tomorrow for Veteran's Day. I didn't know that. I kept him home today for the cable company to come... darn it. If I had planned better I would have scheduled it for tomorrow so he didn't have to miss school for no reason. Oh well, can't change it now. And, thank goodness Chris was looking at the lunch menu for school or I would have tried to send Mr. Trevor off to school tomorrow... although I'm sure we would have figured something out when we got there and no one was there. At least I hope we would have.
So tomorrow I think I will try to pass along some more of the bags of clothes we have. I have two for my nephew and three or four for the baby my SIL has part of the week. I think I'll try to take them, then maybe see if I can get a hold of the other girl and take them to where she works... if she has a way of getting them home... I have the most for her.
I also still have a LOT more stuff to go through but at least I'm getting rid of a bunch of our clutter. yay!!
I think I have stalled enough time that when I'm done with this the one blanket in the dryer might be done, and I can throw the other one in and jump in the shower, then hopefully that will be done and I can head off to bed.
Sleep tight y'all... don't let the bedbugs or carpenter ants bite ~ I know I'm hoping not to.

Surprise!

yeah.

yep.

it is really me.

i'm not sure if any one is or has been checking here to see something new... if so, i'm sorry i have been absent for so long... i'm not going to get into details about why i was gone, but it was just pretty much life. you know... kids, family, household, pets, trying to make a dollar or two, KIDS, house work, and so on...

so here i am. i have nothing to say. i am having a freakin' hectic shitty snowy day... but i'm trying to manage. it hasn't been this way all day... well the snow part it has been almost all morning, but that isn't even the worse part... and really i guess my day isn't so bad, just that right now things aren't going so great and i wish i could just close my eyes and when i opened them everything would be fixed... but if that happened what the hell would i blog/bitch/talk/complain/think/ponder/procrastinate do??? so i guess after i type this... i'll finish putting laundry away in my room, and throw some wash in the dryer and the washing machine and then pick up all the damn dog food that the dog thinks is a good idea to dump all over the floor and the kids love to track every where... then i will for the millionth time today try to figure out what the hell is making lauren soooooo cranky today, then i will again explain to my children that they cannot touch whatever they want to touch in the house, just b/c they want to touch it... like the computer and the temp controls in the fridge that they had turned OFF the other day, and yeah we did realize they did this... when our freezer was leaking water out of it... GREAT. i know. then i will clean up some other messes that i have already cleaned today a few times, and get a few, like 10 or 12 more annoying calls from Online Ed... WTF???!!! STOP CALLING ME!!! i said i did NOT want to be contacted... i have answered and said not to call back and i have answered and hung up, i've let my 2 year old daughters answer and talk.... LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah. so this is it... sorry. i know you may have been expecting more from me since i haven't been around... but this is pretty much all i got.

maybe if i make it, if i happen to survive till nap time, then i will be back with something more to say... or at least something more pleasant to say. we'll see. right now i have to get the girls down from the top of their crib railing b/c they are messing with the blinds... AGAIN!!!

have a happy day!!

I...

I apologize for not leaving any love one anyone's pages! My computer is totally sucking lately and it keeps dying on a more regular basis!! I don't even know if I will get it started again the next time it decides to die. Right now as I type this... I'm also saving all my pics to Shutterfly. I have had my computer totally take a crap and I lost so many pictures it was so devastating. There were pictures of Trevor's first steps and also his first trip to the ocean/beach. It was about 6 months of pictures. It was horrible. And, although that happened and I was crushed for a long time, till I decided that being upset and wanting to burn down the computer repair place wasn't going to fix things, I still haven't taken care of my digital photos like I should. Part of my main problem is that I have so many and take a LOT every day, or almost every day, that it takes me literally hours to burn them on CDs and then also it takes me a million and one CDs... so for now I am going to put them on Shutterfly and then manage them from there.
We are also going to be getting a NEW computer in the near future!! THANK GOD!! Please, just don't mention that around here, I don't want this one to think it can just quit on us... if only it could or would give us two weeks notice before dying off. Wouldn't that be nice?
Anyway... on a different note, my kids are HILARIOUS!! Truly they are!!
Lauren and Brooke are in this new phase of asking what EVERY. SINGLE. THING. IS. No matter if they already know or not... and then once you say it they repeat it back to you.
Lauren will usually say... What is that, Mommy? Or just ~ What's that? Then I will say (for example) that is a frying pan. Lauren will say. Frying Pan? Me: Yes, a frying pan. Lauren: I like a frying pan.
Brooke... What is that Mommy? or What's that? Me: That is a frying pan. Brooke: Oh. Frying Pan? Me: Yes. Brooke: Oh.
Lauren seems to like most everything... except here jammies. Not sure why, or where this comes from, but she doesn't like footed jammies anymore, maybe it is because she knows when she has them on it is usually bed time. Smart cookie I tell ya. But, her and Brooke are constantly taking their pajamas off whenever they have a second that someone isn't right there watching them. I keep on finding naked babies.
The other thing that is pretty funny with them lately... is that we are doing more "potty" work. I keep asking them if they want to go sit on the potty, which they ALWAYS do, they just usually don't do anything on there, but play with the toilet paper and flush the toilet a few times each. But the other night Lauren came to me and told me that she needed to go potty. And she actually said... Mommy, I haf to go potty. I haf to make pee pee really really bad. She was even holding herself. LOL Then of course we went in the bathroom, and low and behold she went pee on the potty. Brooke followed suite, saying she had to go really really bad too, but didn't manage any pee on the potty. I still gave them each some chocolate chips! :)
Trevor is always making us laugh and he really is just such a brilliant child... he is so smart and amazing... the way he puts things together is just unbelievable... Tonight we were joking with the kids and saying that we were going to give them back to the people we got them from... okay maybe not funny to some people, but please don't bash me, we were truly ONLY joking with our kids... and really Trevor was laughing and playing along... none of this was to upset them or make them feel bad or anything... really it was innocent. So we said that we found Trevor along the side of the road... and he said No way! And we said, yeah sure, of course that is where we found you... how else do you think we would get you?? And he said, you got me from the doctors. :) How sweet. He said he knows that is where you get baby from after a Mommy has it in her. ~ He is right too, a doctor or midwife is usually the one that gives you your baby after you give birth to it. What a little smarty! He knew he had the right answer too, you could just tell by the look on his face and they way his eyes lit right up.
Well this post has taken me forever... I can't believe that I got distracted for so long from it... I think I started typing it around 8:15 or so... and it is now 10:23. Oh well at least I finished it and it has some content, not like the last few I have posted. I really wanted to do the Thursday Thirteen... but I'm not sure I have the stamina to actually go through with it... I'll see. I have work on saving some pics...

I got if all figured out!!

I am so good today. On the ball for realizal. I can't believe I did NOT think of this sooner. Really. It is a revelation!!
Seriously. I found out that I really do not spend too much time on here... and all the other blogs I'm extremely addicted to. Really. I'm not trying to convince myself or you... well okay maybe... but I think I did figure it out... it is just that I need to read and type faster!! I have to work on the speed reading thing-a-majig and quicker typing skills!! So easy, right?? You are totally like, damn she is right on the money, why the hell didn't I think of that before?!?! See I told ya, that I got it all in the bag!
Okay, maybe I'm just making that up so that I can feel better or less bad for being glued to my computer! (although I really don't feel that bad, I just feel like I should be doing something a little different than always being on here, but only a little bit) I just put all my kiddos for naps and the minute I closed their doors, I was right here with my butt stuck on this damn chair typing and reading away! I wonder if there is a help number for blogging?? I wonder what the 10 steps would be for blogging recovery?? Do you think they would give you a blogging buddy? Wow! I wonder if it ever comes to that what they do with you Internet, are you just cut off cold turkey or do they just ween you from blogs and train you to just take care of bills and such on the Internet? I think blogging is therapy, but I can also see needing therapy from blogging over load.
On another note... I officially signed up for the blog 365... although I have been blogging every day since 01.01.08. And, I am loving all the new people that I'm meeting on the 365 crazy train! Not, at all, that I don't love all the people that I already have stalked and have on my blog roll. I still love you, truly I do. As pathetic as it may be, I really consider my blog buddies my "real life" friends too, not just threw the blog waves. :)
So there isn't much else to type/talk about so I'm off to go stalk some other bloggers and see what is up with them... I'm going to see if I can some permissions to add some new peeps to my blog roll. You know how I roll.
Peace my peeps!!
PS I'm listening to the new Chris Brown CD and damn do I heart that boy!! He is sooo freakin' cute and damn can he sing and dance!! My fav is #4... With You! xoxoxox

S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y!!

Yay, yay!! It is Saturday!! :o)

I love Saturdays... just because. Doesn't everyone? It is 8:30 and all the kids are up... and ready to start our day. Our house is a little bit cold... so I'm assuming that it is freezing outside. YUCK! But whatever.

Our plan for today is to do some holiday shopping!! I love everything about the holidays!! I love shopping, I love wrapping, I love decorating, I just love it all!! I want to just keep that holiday spirit and mood and bottle it!! Although we are going to be taking all three kids with us to do some holiday shopping today, which wasn't so great last weekend when we went, I'm going to try to make the best of it and see if I work really hard maybe I can make it a pleasant shopping experience for all. :o) After all isn't that a mom's job to try to make everyone happy?

Okay, so back to our plan for today... Bryan is off working this morning... actually I'm not too sure how long he is working for... he may be gone just this morning, or he might be gone all day till this afternoon or even later, and work a full day like he has to all week. Not sure. So that is a little stipulation to our plans, but I'll work around it... if we have to we can shop tomorrow instead.

Since Bryan is at work this morning... I'm going to make the kids a BIG breakfast... maybe if they are stuffed full of food, when we go shopping they will be more happy!! (maybe) Then we are going to color or paint or something fun... I think we will make some Christmas decorations to hang up, since we are done with all other holidays in our house until Christmas comes, I feel we can decorate for it now! ;o) I'm so excited!! That should get them a little bit calmer, get some creative juices out doing a art project, then everyone can have a nice warm, relaxing bath... then get dressed all nice and cozy warm... but in clothes that we can go to the store in.. and then hang out maybe play a game or something then it will almost be nap time for Lauren and Brooke... spend some time with just Trevor, maybe playing some Candy Land or Uno. Then it will be nap time for Trevor too. Then I can wrap some presents and clean up our house. I'm not sure if we are getting company later or not... but we'll see. I want to straighten up the house anyway... because I would like to start decorating it. ;o)

I'm also going to pack up the diaper bag, well re-pack it... I want to replenish some things like wipes... which there aren't any in there... which I'm not sure how in the world that happened!! But, anyway... I'm going to doctor up the diaper bag and I'm going to add some snacks and stuff to it to keep everyone happy while shopping. :o) I might help... it might not. But I'm hoping it will make everyone a little bit happier.

So part A of my plan is underway... Bryan is at work, one thing done. Hey. When you have a long list.. you gotta count everything. lol. The kids are eating, and happily, I might add. They are have some blueberry waffles with some syrup. I think that the sugar might give them the energy we will need to make it through the day and get some shopping done. I might end up with hyper kids, but at least they won't be cranky tired kids... especially if I can get them to nap before we go. ;o) Yippity Skippity we have a plan!! lol

Okay, I'm going to go work on some craft ideas for the kids and also the other things I need to do to go later...

Toodles!!

Sunday...

I'm lame today on my title... although I don't always come up with something catchy. Oh well. I'm here, at the computer, while my three little angels are watching television so nicely together. : ) Not sure how long this will last, so I gotta type fast.

They are watching Back to the Barnyard on Disney channel... or maybe it isn't Disney... maybe it is Nick Jr. either way they are watching it and together. I'm happy for the quiet and for them to be getting along and for them to not be getting into trouble.

Last night we went to dinner with Des, Ryan, Gio, Jill, Kevin, Richie and Alyssa. It was very nice. We didn't have to wait too long to get seated... because Jill called ahead and got us some reservations, although they don't really take reservations, they did take one because we were a party of 9, and because Bryan and Kevin's cousins work there. So that was pretty cool. ~ We ate at Outback ~ I didn't mention it now, but I did mention in the last post I did... at least I think I did.

So first we went to the mall... and we walked around some and I got Lauren and Brooke some new boots for winter and some new shoes, well because they don't have shoes, they only have sneakers and also because they needed something new for on their feet. Their sneakers still fit them for now, but they will need new sneakers in the near future too. ~ Today when they got up I told them I had something new for them... they were so excited to get new boots and shoes. We tried the boots on first. I got them a little bit bigger because then I can put extra socks on them, and also they won't outgrow them this year. ; ) They loved them! They are a darker pink and zip up the front and have a little faux fur trim. Totally cute!! They had little faux suede boots I was going to get them, but they weren't for snow... their feet would have gotten cold and wet... or the other way around... wet then cold. They were really cute. But these are okay too. Then when we tried on the little shoes I got them they didn't want to take them off. They still have them on. Typical girls... loving shoes. LOL

I feel bad, I didn't get anything for Trevor last night. I hate that. Although he doesn't need any new footwear... I just feel like I should have gotten him something. But earlier yesterday I went to town with my mom and I got him new gloves and a hat... so that makes it fair, I guess. Besides this morning when he saw the girls stuff, which he said... "Awwe this is so cute Mommy" he didn't ask about anything for himself and wasn't upset at all that they got something. So I guess it is okay.

Speaking of getting things for Trevor's birthday we got him the Aquadots, he wanted them every time they were on the tv. We only used it one time because it doesn't really work that well, and I wanted to return it for that reason. But, we kept it because Trev didn't want me to take it back and because Bry got it to work a little bit better. But, I took it back yesterday anyway, because it is recalled. They say there is something like the date rape pill in it and some children who have ingested it went into comas. How horrible is that?! I can't believe all the stuff going on with children's toys lately. I'm so glad that Brooke, Lauren or Trevor didn't eat any. They look like something you would put in your mouth, and had no smell at all. So, now Trevor has a store credit that he can use to pick out any toy he wants!! : ) (well for the amount of the gift card)

And he still has a mall gift card that he got for his birthday from his grandparents... so next time we go to the mall he can pick something out then too, unless we decide to use it to buy some snow pants. I would like him to have two pair of snow pants that way he will always have a dry pair for school or play. I'll have to look into that. : ) Maybe I should double up on everything, although he does have two jackets already.

Well now I'm rambling on and on, about nothing really important and/or interesting so I'm going to go. If I come up with some interesting info I'll be back.

Updating & Working on Blog...

Hello everyone. I'm back, briefly. I have a lot of information, news, stories, and of course pictures to share with all of you. But, with having three children, what I don't have is a lot of time to be typing on here. I used to type during nap time, but I have been staggering the kids naps, so that Trevor and I get some time together when the girls first go down, and then they get some time with me before he wakes up. It works out well, except that there is no time now for me to do things by myself while they nap. This is a temporary thing, because soon Mr. Trevor will be starting Pre-School, one of my many things to post on here... and he will be gone from home, so I want to get in as much time with him as I can before he goes to pre-school. Our days of just hanging out bumming around the house are numbered. : (
Anyway. I am going to download some pictures from the camera to the computer and post some of them.
Then I will be back, after I start some laundry and put some water on to cook ziti for dinner.
  1. Our trip to Connecticut

So that is that for now... I'll be back, after these messages. : )

Recap...

Here is a recap of the last few weeks, I'll be fairly brief... but you all know me, that isn't easy. : )
So.... lets see. The last post I did was on August 10th... well on the 10th, it was a Friday, we went grocery shopping. Yeah, I know this is what my Friday nights have come down to... a BIG night out to the grocery store with the whole family. YIPPEE... but we did go to dinner first, so I guess that makes it a little bit better. We were still getting everything ready and set for our big camping trip to Connecticut!! Everyone was pretty anxious... well the adults at least and my 11 year old nephew... my kids didn't really understand or know what was going on. Trevor, even told us that he rather stay home with uncle Ralph (my brother) then go with us. He didn't mean it in a way that staying with uncle Ralph would be bad, and going would be worse.. he just thought he would have a good time with uncle Ralph and not such a good time camping. : ) The mind of an almost 4 year old. But, anyway, back on track. Saturday we hung out all day, and packed stuff in the camper, although I had been packing all week. I packed everyone's clothes, and some junk. Bryan got all the bigger things ready, the grill and chairs, kids little picnic table and bikes. Sunday, we had a birthday gathering for my mom's birthday. Her actual birthday was on the 14th... Tuesday, but she would be in Connecticut, with me and my brother Ryan and everyone, but Ralph and Jamie and Julie wouldn't be there, so we had a gathering on Sunday. It was a surprise. : ) I made some angel food cupcakes and some loafs of angel food cake too.. they came out really good. I used my new silicone bake ware. LOVE IT!! Cools fast, cooks well, easy to clean up!! : ) I also had cut up some strawberries and they were marinating in their own juice so they would be really yummy with the angel food cake. I also had some really, really good blueberries, and I'm not usually a blueberry fan. I find them mostly tart and or not a pleasant taste... but these were really tasty. We also had some Cool Whip topping for the cake and fruit, and some vanilla ice cream on the side! It was YUMMY!
Okay, then we came home from that... well let me rewind some... after some cake and all that... we were outside hanging out and the boys went in the pool... by boys I mean, Trevor, Matthew and Bryan... they had a good time. : ) The little girls ran around playing and happy... and the rest of us just sat around and talked... it was nice. : )
We came home, got the kids in for mini naps, and started dinner and packed some more. It was a good day. : )
Monday... August 13th The Departure Day!
(I'll be back with more, I have to put some girls in the bath... )

Happy Friday... again!

So, it has been a week since I have last posted anything! I was doing good for a little while and posting every day, or every other. BUT things have been or at least seem to be soooooo busy lately around here. We are always doing something, or going some where, or have to get something done. I have not been one one whole day this past week. Which isn't a big thing, but it isn't necessarily the norm around here. I'd like a few lazy days of doing much of nothing but hanging out and playing. :) We did that today. We went to the White Lake beach... the fireman's beach and hung out. After, of course, doing a few things around the house. And yet, there is still a few more things to be done still... BUT I'm sure they will wait until tomorrow or the next day... or maybe even Monday. We have a busy weekend planned too, and it starts tonight, with a trip to Middletown. Yippee! I am, although the yippee was sarcastic, looking forward to going. I would be more excited it if were just Bryan and I. Although, I love my kids and don't mind taking them. It is a lot of work to take them any where and, AND, to keep them all smiling and happy!! They are all napping now, our trip to the lake (or as some of us {BROOKE} call it the "pool") has worn them out and they all went right down for me, no questions asked. They all had a little bath and got all cleaned up and the sand out of all the little (horrible) places likes to hide on your body... and off to la la land!! :) Mommy is enjoying this quiet time! I should be doing some laundry, getting ready to go to Middletown... but nope here I sit. lol I found out the other night that I do have some faithful followers ( Marie, Audrey, and Tanya... I may even have more... ) so I'm trying to update this with some info and most important some pictures!! I have some pics from yesterday, we went swimming yesterday at the lake too, but the girls were in the buff and Trev in just his underwear... so I'm going to save those pics for when the kids are older and I can use them as blackmail... just kidding. But, I'm not going to post them today, because they need to be chosen very carefully so that no one is "exposed" on the world wide web!! We do not want that happening!!

BUT, speaking of pictures and being exposed... we ~ the kids and myself ~ are going to be in the Times Herald Record some time this weekend. This very nice lady, named Michelle, who works for the Times, took a bunch of pictures of us today playing around in the water and all that... and she said they will be in this weekend some time. We'll see. I'm going to get three copies and save them for the kids scrapbooks!! :) I know, I know I'm a complete genius to think of that. I know.

There are a lot more pictures, I took 501! Just today. Just at the lake. I know, I know... again. I'm a genius!!! lol. It may seem a little bit excessive for me to take 501 pictures of my kids at the lake today, and we were only there for a little over 2 hours... BUT it will be the only "today" we will have. When today is over, I will still have all those moments captured... and I mean ALL those moments!! Just kidding. I didn't take pictures the entire time, only in the beginning and then a few here and there, and here... that was all. This is also the reason that I have a digital camera... no more developing fee... although I am going to take these some where, some time, and have them printed. Not all 501 of them, but a lot of them. I LOVE LOVE LOVE photographs!! Can't get enough of them!

So, anyway, I gotta get going... so I will post some more pictures this weekend... or maybe not... but we'll see.

Friday night... Middletown

Saturday... Bryan is on-call for work, and he has to go to Larry's, NICK'S Bday party at 1pm

Sunday.... Bryan going to Priscilla's house to finish trim, then paintball, then the Wayne County Fair!!!

Of course there will be pics from most of these things... well the bday party for Nick and the fair!!! :) I'll be back... keep checking in!!!

100!!!!!!!!!!!!

******So this is my 100th post!! Go me!! Whoopeee!!! :)*******
Anyway... I wasn't going to post much, because I have a million and one and I literally mean a million AND one ~ things to do today. I just got home, we were at my parents house so I could work on some things for a Stampin' Up! Workshop... but that didn't go so well. Anyway... I thought I would just post that tomorrow... YEP, Tomorrow... FRIDAY ~ is the BIG day that we are getting our NEW camper!!! YES ~ BRAND NEW CAMPER!!! I cannot wait. Of course, I will, however have to wait longer then I thought I would. Bryan and my Dad are going to get it. The kids and I are going to stay home. It isn't that far of a ride, about 2 1/2 hours, but they are going to go over the entire camper with my Dad and Bryan and who ever else might be picking up a camper... and they need no distractions I'm sure, and then also it will be Bryan's first time towing something so big, and I think even towing a camper. So the less people in the truck and the less noise and stress and all that crap, the better. I know what you are thinking! I know. My kids hardly make any noise at all. :D Just kidding!!! So anyway.. they are attending a 4Pm show on "How to Work & Operate Your New Camper" :) Then they will do whatever else they have to do, like possible paperwork, although we did most if not all of it. And then they will be on their way home. They better not think about stopping to eat some where. I want to see my new camper, sit on the couch and do all that stuff. Plus I have a bunch of things for in it already. It is like having a NEW home, well it is NEW and when we aren't "here" we will be home in it. Home away from home!

Anyway... here are some pics from the other day... and I will have to be back another time to type some more, the kids are ALL sleeping and I have to get some stuff done!! :)

~ Hi. Glad you stopped by. Come on in, kick off your shoes, put your feet up relax, grab a drink and stay a while. ~
